LAMP Hub Creative Writing Contest

I started writing at the age of eight. I stopped. I picked up my ink at the age of fifteen. I wrote for fun. I wanted to be a globally recognized author but I didn't see a way for it as being traditionally published was expensive and I couldn't dare to bother my parents with that.

I then decided writing wasn't a career and was only going to be for fun. I picked a different career choice that people would be able to relate to even though my soul didn't want to do anything else but write. I told people then that I write for fun and to express myself even though I wanted to boldly shout to the world that I'm a writer. I wanted to walk into a room and be introduced as a writer.

I wanted to be a writing star but I was lost and didn't know how else I could be what I wanted to be. I was like this for a while until I discovered something; information that changed my life around and made me start dreaming of becoming a writer and showcasing myself to the world as one.

I didn't stop at that. I kept learning, searching for various ways on how to be my dream. Now, I'm a writer and it's not a side hustle, it's my main career. I'm a full-time writer and the director of a writing agency. Everyone knows me as a writer and I'm gladly working towards my dream of becoming global because I have hope.
